Real-World Experience
In 1999, while performing contract work for the Oakland Raiders and Pixar, founder Doug Solis grew frustrated with cheap, two-shelf AV carts that couldn't handle the demands of professional production environments.
His answer was an all-in-one integrated mobile workstation — a system that could be wheeled anywhere, handle serious payloads, and look as professional as the work being done on it. With over four decades in the broadcast and film industry, Doug built Bigfoot Mobile Systems on a simple principle: technical professionals deserve equipment that works as hard as they do.

What is a Bigfoot mobile workstation?
It is a rolling, lockable 19-inch rack workstation built to order around your equipment list. Frames are extruded aluminium with composite panels on heavy-duty locking casters, and every system is engineered for its rack height and depth, lid style, monitor mounting, drawer storage, power distribution and cable management. Bigfoot calls them Performance Furniture.
How quickly can a Bigfoot system be deployed?
Most systems are rolled into place and running in 5 to 15 minutes, against 45 to 60 minutes or more for loose rack-and-table setups. One crew member can deploy most builds; a Double Rack XL or a route with stairs is easier with two.
Can a system be built around equipment I already own?
Yes. Send your equipment list and we size the rack to it, then choose the lid, monitor mounts, drawers and power to suit how the gear is used. Nothing is built from a template.
Who uses Bigfoot systems?
